Andy Richter
Andy Richter’s quick wit and deadpan delivery made him an indispensable foil on late-night television, but his knack for playing the affable everyman shines brightly in film roles like TV writer Rob Stefaniuk in the sharp satire "The Last Man on Earth." His natural chemistry with Conan O’Brien propelled him into the spotlight as the quintessential sidekick, lending a blend of self-aware humor and surprise to shows like "Conan." Beyond the talk show circuit, Richter’s turn as the hapless but earnest Dr. Richter in the romantic comedy "Earth Girls Are Easy" stands out for its quirky charm and comedic timing. He brings a relatable awkwardness to his characters that keeps audiences rooting for him regardless of the role. Whether riffing alongside O’Brien or embodying a lovably flawed character in scripted projects, Richter’s contributions lie in his ability to inject a casual, smart humor that never overshadows the moment. His work on "The Last Man on Earth" in particular highlights how he can anchor a comedy with subtle expressions and an unforced approach to absurd situations, making him a memorable presence both on screen and behind the mic.
