Rihanna
Rihanna’s presence on screen is as commanding as her music career. Though primarily known as a singer, her role as Petty Officer Cora Raikes in Peter Berg’s military sci-fi Battleship stands out, where she brought intensity and a sharp edge that cut through the film’s chaos. Her performance hinted at a knack for action roles, combining toughness with an unmistakable charisma. Beyond Battleship, Rihanna also took a leading role in the psychological thriller Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, working with director Luc Besson and showing a willingness to take on visually ambitious and genre-blending projects. Rihanna’s screen work often plays to her natural confidence and unique presence, making her performances memorable for their blend of cool mystery and raw impact.
