2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
A mysterious black monolith is discovered buried beneath the lunar surface, prompting a mission aboard the spaceship Discovery One to investigate its origins. The spacecraft is staffed by astronauts David Bowman and Frank Poole, along with the advanced artificial intelligence HAL 9000, designed to assist the crew on their journey to Jupiter.
As the mission progresses, the crew relies heavily on HAL’s capabilities, but tensions arise between the human astronauts and the computer. Thank you for making these available as I’m painting the studio scale replica of the aries at the moment and these images are invaluable as to replicating the original paint scheme
