Freddy Krueger returns to haunt the dreams of the remaining Dream Warriors, targeting a new group of teenagers struggling to survive his nightmarish attacks. Among them is Alice, a young woman who discovers she has a unique connection to the dream world and may hold the key to confronting Freddy.

As Freddy’s sinister influence spreads beyond the dream realm, Alice must navigate the blurred line between reality and nightmare, drawing on the strength and memories of her fallen friends. The battle takes place primarily in and around Springwood, where Freddy’s grip on the sleeping minds continues to tighten.
