Airplane II: The Sequel (1982)

When a passenger space shuttle equipped with a malfunctioning computer system begins hurtling toward the sun, former pilot Ted Striker is called back into action. Tasked with regaining control of the spacecraft, Ted faces the daunting challenge of navigating the crisis in orbit while confronting his own troubled past.

Meanwhile, Ted attempts to mend his relationship with Elaine as the shuttle’s crew and mission control work to prevent disaster. The tension rises aboard the shuttle as Ted strives to avert catastrophe and bring the mission safely back on course.
