Skeeter Bronson, a hotel handyman struggling to make ends meet, often tells imaginative bedtime stories to his niece and nephew to cheer them up. When the whimsical tales he invents start coming to life, Skeeter finds himself facing the challenge of navigating bizarre situations and eccentric characters spilling into his reality.

As Skeeter tries to control the chaos brought on by his newfound magical influence, he must balance his unpredictable adventures with his everyday responsibilities. With the help of people around him, including his niece and nephew, Skeeter confronts a world where fantasy and real life collide in unexpected and humorous ways.
