Big Eyes (2014)
During the late 1950s and early 1960s, Walter Keane gains widespread recognition for a series of paintings featuring children with large, haunting eyes. The art captures public attention, but behind the scenes, Walter is taking credit for work actually created by his wife, Margaret. Although Margaret is deeply troubled by the deception, she initially stays silent while Walter enjoys fame and commercial success.
As their marriage deteriorates, Margaret begins to assert herself and challenges Walter’s claim to the paintings. The dispute escalates, culminating in a legal battle to determine the true artist behind the distinctive portraits. The story centers on Margaret’s struggle to reclaim her identity and prove her role as the original creator.

I love this movie, it was through this I decided to go to San Francisco & I did manage to buy one of her paintings. It was of the blond hair girl with the yellow dress & black cat. It’s through this virus I decided to get some more of her work. I hope to get more cause she does so many designs, thanks to Tim Burton I learned about Keane before this movie I didn’t know who she was.
