Dean Jones plays Steve Walker, who accidentally summons the ghost of the notorious pirate Blackbeard while visiting a small town. The pirate’s spirit returns to help Steve’s elderly neighbor, Emily Stowecroft, who cares for a group home under threat from schemers planning to replace it with a casino.

As the antagonists plot to force Emily and her friends out, Steve finds himself caught between the ghostly Blackbeard’s antics and the crooks’ underhanded tactics. Together, they must outwit the villains to protect the group home and its residents.
