Blazing Saddles (1974)
In a small Western town where most residents share the last name Johnson, greedy railroad tycoon Hedley Lamarr wants to seize the land for his own gain. To drive the townsfolk away, Lamarr sends his henchmen to terrorize them and provoke chaos. After the current sheriff is killed, the townspeople demand a replacement from the Governor.
Trying to further his scheme, Lamarr convinces the Governor to appoint the first black sheriff in the West, Bart, hoping this will cause more trouble. Bart must navigate the townspeople’s skepticism and Lamarr’s relentless schemes while maintaining order in a hostile environment.
