CHIPS (2017)

Frank “Ponch” Poncherello and Jon Baker are California Highway Patrol officers assigned to patrol the busy freeways of Los Angeles on their motorcycles. Known for their different approaches to law enforcement, the two must work together to tackle crime while navigating the chaotic traffic and unpredictable situations they encounter during their shifts. As they pursue suspects and respond to emergencies, their partnership is tested by their contrasting personalities and methods.

When an elaborate criminal scheme involving stolen money from a bank begins to surface, Ponch and Jon find themselves investigating a larger conspiracy that puts them in dangerous situations beyond routine traffic stops. Alongside their colleagues and with support from dispatch and other CHP personnel, they must rely on their skills and instincts to bring the perpetrators to justice. Their high-speed pursuits and on-the-job antics highlight the challenges of life on the Los Angeles freeways.
