Megan wants to visit several colleges across the country to find the perfect fit for her future. Her plans change when her father, a protective police officer, insists on joining her to make sure she stays focused and safe during the trip.

As they travel from one campus to another, their different personalities and goals create tension and comedy, challenging Megan’s independence and her father’s desire to keep control. Their cross-country journey is full of unexpected adventures that test their bond and understanding of each other.
