Dead Again (1991)

In 1949, composer Roman Strauss is convicted and executed for the murder of his wife, a case that remains shrouded in mystery decades later. In 1990s Los Angeles, detective Mike Church encounters a mute woman suffering from amnesia who appears inexplicably connected to the Strauss case.

As Mike investigates, he uncovers clues linking the woman—known only as Grace—to the past murder, raising questions about identity and memory. With assistance from psychiatrist Dr. Gramercy, they delve into the dark history surrounding Roman Strauss and his wife, navigating a tangled web of secrets that bridge two time periods.
