Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011)

Seventh-grader Greg Heffley believes he has middle school all figured out, especially after escaping the infamous Cheese Touch. His older brother, Rodrick, however, is determined to keep Greg in line by playing relentless pranks on him. Their mother insists the boys spend more time together, leading to awkward attempts at sibling bonding that only fuel their rivalry.

Rodrick views his teasing as a way to toughen up Greg for real-life challenges, making their relationship a mix of annoyance and reluctant connection. The story takes place mostly at home and school, capturing the everyday ups and downs of their brotherly dynamic.
