Dolphin Tale (2011)

When a young dolphin named Winter loses her tail after becoming caught in a crab trap off the coast of Florida, a dedicated team at the Clearwater Marine Hospital races to save her. Among them is Dr. Cameron McCarthy, who leads the effort to provide Winter with the care she needs, while veterinarian Dr. Clay Haskett works on creating a prosthetic tail to help her swim again. The hospital becomes a hub of activity as animal rescuers and specialists collaborate to give Winter a chance at survival.

Meanwhile, Sawyer, a solitary boy dealing with his own struggles, finds an unexpected connection with Winter during her rehabilitation. As he spends time at the marine hospital, Sawyer becomes involved in her care and discovers a new sense of purpose. Together with the support of the hospital staff and his friends, he faces the challenges presented by Winter’s situation, building bonds that help both him and the dolphin heal.
