Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019)

Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019) follows Dora (Isabela Merced), a teenager who has spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents. When her parents go missing while searching for the fabled city of gold, Dora is sent to high school in the city, but soon finds herself embarking on a new adventure. Along with her cousin Diego (Jeff Wahlberg) and new friends, Dora is kidnapped by treasure hunters who want to use her to find the lost city. The group must escape their captors and survive the jungle, while Dora uses her vast knowledge of exploration to solve puzzles and uncover the secrets of the city of gold.

The film blends live-action with elements of the animated series Dora the Explorer, bringing Dora’s signature curiosity and optimism to the screen while appealing to both kids and adults. Featuring action-packed sequences, humor, and a heartfelt message about family and friendship, Dora and the Lost City of Gold is a fun, family-friendly adventure.
