Earth Girls Are Easy (1988)

Valerie is frustrated with her unfaithful fiancé, Ted, when her quiet life in Los Angeles is upended by a crash-landing. A trio of furry aliens plummet their spaceship into her backyard swimming pool, sparking a bizarre encounter. After a makeover at Valerie’s girlfriend’s salon reveals their handsome human forms, the strangers adapt quickly to Earth.

Eager to blend in, the aliens immerse themselves in 1980s pop culture by watching television and planning to explore Los Angeles nightlife. As Valerie navigates her complicated relationship, the newcomers dive into the dating scene, confronting the challenges of love and identity on an unfamiliar planet.
