Ernest Goes to Jail (1990)

Ernest P. Worrell, a clumsy bank janitor, is called for jury duty but soon becomes entangled in a criminal mix-up when he is mistaken for a dangerous crime boss who looks exactly like him. Swapped without his knowledge, Ernest finds himself behind bars in place of the real gang leader.

Determined to clear his name and sort out the confusion, Ernest must navigate the challenges of prison life while trying to expose the switch. Along the way, he encounters colorful characters from both sides of the law, including figures connected to the raid and the criminal underworld.
