Fantastic Voyage (1966)
When a renowned scientist is attacked and left with a critical brain clot, a specialized medical team embarks on a daring mission to save his life. Using experimental technology, a submarine and its crew are miniaturized to microscopic size and injected directly into the scientist’s bloodstream. Led by pilot Grant and accompanied by biologist Cora Peterson, the team must navigate the complex inner world of the human body.
Their journey takes them through veins, arteries, and the brain itself as they work against the clock to locate and remove the dangerous obstruction. Facing the challenges of this unfamiliar environment, the crew must operate with precision inside this surreal and hostile microscopic landscape to prevent irreversible damage.
