It Came from Beneath the Sea (1955)

After a series of mysterious attacks on ships, a nuclear submarine crew discovers that a giant octopus, mutated by radiation, is terrorizing the Pacific. As the massive creature moves toward the coast, scientists and military forces scramble to stop its destructive path.

With time running out, a daring plan is put into action to prevent the monster from devastating San Francisco. A classic of 1950s sci-fi cinema, the film showcases Ray Harryhausen’s groundbreaking stop-motion effects, bringing the terrifying sea creature to life.
