Dave Lizewski (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), an ordinary teenager and comic book fan, decides to become a real-life superhero despite having no powers or training. Adopting the name “Kick-Ass,” he quickly learns that being a vigilante is far more dangerous than he imagined when his first attempt at fighting crime goes viral, attracting both fans and enemies. As his exploits gain attention, he encounters real superheroes, including the deadly father-daughter duo Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) and Hit-Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz), who are on a mission to take down crime boss Frank D’Amico (Mark Strong).

As the stakes rise, Dave finds himself caught in a violent war between the vigilantes and D’Amico’s gang. The film blends intense action with dark humor, offering a gritty yet entertaining take on the superhero genre. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, Kick-Ass is known for its stylized violence, irreverent tone, and standout performances, especially from Moretz and Cage.
