Kickboxer (1989)

American kickboxing champion Eric Sloane travels to Thailand with his brother Kurt to take on the country’s top fighters in a challenge to prove his skills in their own sport. Eric faces Tong Po, the fiercely brutal Thai champion known for his ruthless fighting style.

During the match, Tong Po overwhelms Eric, leaving him paralyzed and ending his fighting career. Driven by anger and a desire for justice, Kurt commits himself to train and confront Tong Po in hopes of avenging his brother’s injury and restoring honor.
