Clay, a college freshman, returns to Los Angeles for the Christmas break at the request of his ex-girlfriend Blair. Upon arriving, he reconnects with his former best friend Julian, only to find that Julian is deeply entangled in a dangerous drug addiction that is tearing apart his life. Los Angeles’ glamorous yet troubled social scene serves as the backdrop for their strained reunion.

As Clay tries to navigate the city’s parties and affluent circles, he becomes increasingly involved in Julian’s struggles with addiction and the consequences it brings. Blair’s concern and Clay’s attempts to help highlight the personal conflicts unfolding amid the city’s flashy exterior, putting their relationships to the test.
