Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)
King Arthur sets out to assemble his Knights of the Round Table, including Sir Bedevere the Wise, Sir Lancelot the Brave, Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot, and Sir Galahad the Pure. Along the way, Arthur faces the surprisingly stubborn Black Knight, who refuses to concede despite brutal injuries.
Arriving at Camelot, Arthur quickly dismisses the court as a silly place and decides against entering. This marks the beginning of their quest and the series of absurd adventures leading the knights through a fantastical version of medieval Britain.
