The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking (1988)
Pippi Longstocking finds herself alone after a storm sweeps away her father’s ship, leaving her with only her horse Alfonso and pet monkey Mr. Neilson. She moves into her family’s old house, rumored by local children to be haunted. Two siblings, Tommy and Anika, soon discover Pippi and quickly become her friends.
Together, the three get caught up in a series of playful adventures, from scrubbing floors with their shoes to navigating tricky obstacles like the mysterious “splunks” and riding down a waterfall in barrels. Along the way, they work to help Pippi avoid being sent to an orphanage, facing challenges that test their loyalty and courage.
