Nice Dreams (1981)

Cheech and Chong run a quirky business selling a special kind of ice cream that brings them unexpected wealth, allowing them to indulge in luxury items like guitars and private islands. Their good fortune hits a snag when Chong accidentally trades all their money for a worthless bank check, while Cheech encounters his former flame Donna at a trendy Chinese restaurant.

As Cheech takes Donna back to her upscale penthouse, trouble looms with her ex-con boyfriend, Animal, on the way. Meanwhile, Chong must navigate the challenges of breaking into a nearby insane asylum to recover their lost cash, leading to a series of humorous and bizarre situations.
