Night in Paradise (2020)

Park Tae-goo, a skilled assassin, faces a dangerous proposition when the Bukseong gang, led by Chairman Doh, offers him a chance to defect. Rejecting the offer sparks a deadly consequence involving his family, pushing Tae-goo into a violent retaliation against Chairman Doh and his men. Forced to escape the chaos, Tae-goo retreats to the remote Jeju Island, seeking refuge away from the crime world he once inhabited.

On Jeju Island, Tae-goo encounters Kim Jae-yeon, a woman battling a terminal illness. As their lives become intertwined, Tae-goo must navigate the threatening pursuit led by Executive Ma, a relentless Bukseong gang enforcer determined to exact vengeance. The conflict between Tae-goo’s quest for peace and the gang’s unyielding vendetta sets the stage for a tense and dangerous struggle.
