Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987)

Neal Page, a marketing executive eager to get back home to Chicago for Thanksgiving, faces a series of travel mishaps that force him to change his plans. His attempts to catch flights, trains, and other transportation are repeatedly thwarted by delays and cancellations.

Along the way, Neal is reluctantly paired with Del Griffith, a talkative and good-natured shower curtain ring salesman whose overly friendly nature clashes with Neal’s impatient personality. Together, they embark on an unpredictable journey filled with unexpected obstacles as they try to make it home in time for the holiday.
