Rear Window (1954)

Photographer L.B. Jefferies is confined to a wheelchair in his New York City apartment after an accident. To pass the time, he observes the lives of his neighbors through his rear window, growing increasingly fascinated by their daily routines.

When Jefferies begins to suspect that one neighbor, Lars Thorwald, may have murdered his wife, he enlists the help of his girlfriend Lisa and nurse Stella to investigate. As they piece together clues from their vantage point, tensions rise and Jefferies becomes deeply entangled in the mystery unfolding across the courtyard.
