RoboCop (1987)

In a crime-ridden Detroit, the powerful corporation Omni Consumer Products takes control of the city’s police department, intending to replace officers with advanced cyborg enforcers. To create their ultimate law enforcement weapon, they use street cop Alex Murphy as the basis for the prototype RoboCop after orchestrating a deadly encounter with the ruthless crime lord Boddicker.

As RoboCop begins his mission, he uncovers the corruption and hidden agendas within Omni Consumer Products. Torn between his programmed directives and his human memories, Murphy must navigate a dangerous landscape where the boundaries between man and machine blur.
