Rocky II (1979)

After his near-victory against heavyweight champion Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is thrust into the spotlight and fame, but life outside the ring proves challenging. Newly married to Adrian (Talia Shire), Rocky attempts to live a normal life, struggling with financial issues and his limited job prospects. Meanwhile, Apollo, haunted by the closeness of their first fight, goads Rocky into a rematch to prove his dominance. Initially reluctant, Rocky is eventually driven to accept, seeing it as a chance to reclaim his pride and support his family.

Under the intense training regimen of his old coach Mickey (Burgess Meredith), Rocky fights not only for victory but also for self-respect and the love and support of his wife, who faces her own health struggles.
