After years in the ring, Rocky Balboa faces retirement when his health forces him to step away from boxing. Adding to his struggles, a dishonest accountant has drained his savings, leaving Rocky and his family in financial trouble.

Determined to rebuild, Rocky draws inspiration from the memory of his late trainer Mickey and takes on the challenge of mentoring a promising young fighter. As he guides the up-and-coming boxer, Rocky confronts new obstacles both inside and outside the gym, navigating the harsh realities of a sport he once ruled.
