Scrooge (1970)
Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly London businessman, is visited on Christmas Eve by the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley. Marley warns Scrooge that he must change his selfish ways or face a grim fate. Following this, three spirits arrive to guide Scrooge on a journey through his past, present, and future Christmases.
As Scrooge witnesses scenes from his life and the lives of those around him, including his underpaid clerk Bob Cratchit and Cratchit’s family, he confronts the consequences of his greed and coldheartedness. These supernatural encounters take place across Victorian London, revealing opportunities for Scrooge to alter his path.
