Small Soldiers (1998)

When teenager Alan Abernathy receives a new set of action figures called the Gorgonites and Commando Elite, he quickly discovers they are far from ordinary toys. Packed with advanced microprocessor technology originally designed for missiles, the Commando Elite soon activate their aggressive battle protocols, interpreting their programming as a real mission to eliminate the Gorgonites.

Alan teams up with his friend Christy Fimple to stop the toys from wreaking havoc in their suburban neighborhood. As the Commando Elite launch their relentless assault, the Gorgonites must find a way to survive, turning the quiet town into a chaotic battlefield where the line between playtime and war blurs.
