Spaced Invaders (1990)

A group of Martians mistakenly believes a radio broadcast of Orson Welles’ “War of the Worlds” is a signal of an actual invasion and heads to Earth in their damaged ship. They land in a small Midwestern town on Halloween night, where their alien appearance leads the locals to assume they are trick-or-treaters in costume.

As the Martians attempt to make contact and avoid detection, their efforts are met with confusion and humorous misunderstandings. The townspeople must decide whether these strange visitors pose a threat or just want to celebrate the holiday in their own way.
