Species: The Awakening (2007)

Dr. Hollander travels to Mexico with his niece Miranda in an effort to reverse the alien DNA alterations used to create her. Their hope is to cure the genetic mutation, but the experimental treatment rapidly spirals out of control.

As the process backfires, Miranda begins exhibiting violent and uncontrollable behavior, driven by a primal urge to find a mate. The situation escalates into a deadly struggle as Dr. Hollander races against time to contain the consequences of his creation.
