Star Trek: Nemesis (2002)

As Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise journey to Betazed for William Riker and Deanna Troi’s wedding, Starfleet alerts them to a recent Romulan coup. The new leader, Shinzon, arrives in power claiming a desire for peace with the United Federation of Planets, but the crew remains cautious.

Upon entering Romulan space, Picard and his team uncover a startling truth about Shinzon’s origin as a human who was once a slave on the Romulan sister planet Remus. This revelation sets the stage for a tense confrontation that challenges loyalties and tests the limits of diplomacy between the two factions.
