Starman (1984)

An alien assumes the appearance of Jenny Hayden’s deceased husband and asks her to drive him from their home in Wisconsin to Arizona. As Jenny aids the mysterious visitor, government agents become determined to intercept them, fearing the unknown presence and its intentions.

Together, Jenny and the alien navigate a tense journey across the country, evading law enforcement and grappling with the unusual circumstances of their partnership. Their evolving connection is tested against the pressures of surveillance and hostility from the authorities.
