Linda Lavin
Linda Lavin brings a distinctive warmth and wit to every role she tackles, and her appearance in The Muppets Take Manhattan stands out for its charming blend of humor and heart. Known primarily as an actor, Lavin is celebrated for her ability to balance comedic timing with a genuine emotional core, qualities that made her memorable as the quick-witted café owner Judy on the TV series Alice. Her work with creators like Norman Lear helped define a certain slice of 1970s and 80s television, where her characters felt both lively and authentic. In The Muppets Take Manhattan, her performance adds a grounded, human touch amid the puppetry chaos, showcasing her skill at fitting seamlessly into ensemble casts. She remains a figure who invites viewers into the story without ever stealing the spotlight, embodying characters that linger in memory long after the screen goes dark.
