A decade after preventing Judgment Day, John Connor lives off the grid to avoid detection by Skynet. His quiet life is interrupted when the deadly T-X, an advanced robotic assassin, arrives with orders to eliminate him and ensure the future rise of machines remains on course.

To counter this threat, Connor is unexpectedly aided by his longtime protector, the Terminator, who returns to fulfill his mission of safeguarding John. Together, they confront an escalating danger that forces them into a race against time to stop the machines from taking control.
