The Apple Dumpling Gang (1975)

A carefree drifter unexpectedly becomes responsible for three children when they discover a massive gold nugget, attracting unwanted attention in their small Western town. With townsfolk eager to claim the treasure for themselves, the group faces constant threats and growing tension. The children’s new guardian must navigate this tricky situation while keeping the youngsters safe and out of harm’s way.

To stand their ground, they team up with two well-meaning but clumsy outlaws who add humor and chaos to their efforts. Together, this unlikely crew confronts a gang of skilled sharpshooters determined to seize the gold. As challenges mount, the group must rely on each other to outwit the greedy and survive in a lawless stretch of the Old West.
