After being released from prison, experienced jewel thief Doc Riedenschneider teams up with Alonzo Emmerich, a corrupt lawyer, to organize a major heist in the Midwest. Doc assembles a group of skilled criminals, each with a specific role, to pull off the ambitious robbery.
