The Blob (1958)

When a mysterious, gelatinous alien substance lands near a small town, teenagers Steve and Jane become the first to encounter it. After witnessing the creature engulf an elderly man, they realize the entity grows larger and more dangerous with each victim it consumes.

Despite their warnings, local policeman Dave remains skeptical without concrete proof as the slimy threat steadily advances. Steve and Jane must find a way to convince the townspeople and stop the unstoppable creature before it consumes more lives.
