The Frozen Ghost (1945)

A stage and radio mentalist becomes haunted by guilt after a man dies of a heart attack, believing the man’s death was caused by his own hostile will. Troubled by this, he cancels all his performances and ends his engagement to his partner, who can read minds when hypnotized. Seeking solace, he retreats to the unsettling wax museum that serves as the home of a woman friend.

Amid the eerie setting of the wax museum, the mentalist grapples with his inner turmoil and the strained relationships around him. The presence of his telepathic partner and the mysterious atmosphere create an uncertain environment where truth and illusion intertwine.
