Private detective Sam Spade becomes entangled in a complex case after a mysterious woman named Brigid O’Shaughnessy hires him to find her missing sister. His investigation soon draws the attention of three dangerous criminals, including the enigmatic Joel Cairo and the ruthless Kasper Gutman, all vying for a valuable object known as the Maltese Falcon statuette.
