With the support of his girlfriend, Jennifer, Merlin tries to navigate the challenges that arise from his unconventional inventions while contending with figures like the school principal and other adults wary of his experiments. The story is set primarily in the small-town high school and surrounding community where Merlin’s antics create comedic situations.
