The Oblong Box (1969)

At the isolated Markham Manor, tension simmers beneath the surface as Sir Edward is held captive, restrained and confined by his brother Julian. The mansion’s shadowy halls hide dark secrets, and Julian’s control over his disturbed sibling maintains a fragile order that conceals a lurking menace. The uneasy atmosphere is intensified by the presence of other characters drawn into the manor’s mysterious grip.

When Sir Edward breaks free from his chains, the fragile peace shatters, unleashing his fury on those he believes have betrayed him. Driven by a desire for vengeance, he prowls through Markham Manor with deadly intent. The escalating conflict between the brothers threatens to engulf everyone in the house, as trust and safety unravel within the manor’s oppressive walls.
