The Shining (1980)
Jack Torrance takes a job as the winter caretaker of the isolated Overlook Hotel, moving in with his wife Wendy and young son Danny. The family faces months of seclusion in the vast, snowbound mountain resort, far from civilization.
Danny possesses a psychic ability known as “the shining,” which connects him to the hotel’s dark and unsettling past. As the winter deepens, strange and terrifying forces begin to affect Jack and threaten the safety of his family within the haunted hotel’s walls.

I had to come back and say thank you because this site has been phenomenally helpful for me–I’m working on my third applique collage jacket using these screencaps, right now from Brazil but my first two were from The Shining and I wouldn’t have been able to make them without this site. These are two of the things I’m most proud of making, ever, I love them so much and I loved making them. Thank you so much for this resource because it’s really invaluable.
