The Terminator (1984)

In 1984 Los Angeles, a relentless cyborg assassin called the Terminator is sent from a dystopian future ruled by sentient machines to eliminate Sarah Connor. Her unborn son is fated to lead the human resistance against the oppressive artificial intelligence governing the future. The Terminator’s mission is to prevent this future uprising by erasing Sarah before her child is born.

To protect her, the resistance sends Kyle Reese, a skilled soldier from the future, to guard Sarah and ensure the survival of humanity’s hope.
