The Tree of Life (2011)
The impressionistic story of a Texas family in the 1950s. The film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father (Brad Pitt). Jack (played as an adult by Sean Penn) finds himself a lost soul in the modern world, seeking answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith.

Fantastic job! Really love the stuff you’re doing. I have a suggestion – it would be great if you could work with more films which were nominated for an Oscar or American Society of Cinematographers award for Best Cinematography. They’ll give a lot of amazing screencaps! Thanks for your terrific work

Awesome! Well, you already have some wonderful films on here, so I would like to suggest the following ones, which I think will be terrific for the format of the site:
War Horse (2011), Drive (2011), True Grit (2010), The King’s Speech (2010), Shutter Island (2010), 127 Hours (2010).
These are just from this decade. Would love to see them here someday!
And I just wanted to add that your site is genuinely one of my favorites! Terrific job.
Oh, I know that not all of these were nominated for big awards, but I still think they’ll be great :)
