Watchmen (2009)

In an alternate 1985 where costumed vigilantes are outlawed and nearly extinct, the mysterious murder of one such hero prompts Rorschach to investigate. His actions force former crimefighters like Doctor Manhattan, Nite Owl, Silk Spectre, and Ozymandias to reunite amidst growing tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union.

As they delve deeper into the case, the heroes discover a complex and dangerous conspiracy threatening global stability. Navigating political intrigue and their own fractured relationships, they must confront the uncertain future of masked justice and the fate of humanity itself.
